Yes , I realised this after having a highly productive day yesterday.

Let me tell you all about it and then you will appreciate this yourself!

Like I said, yesterday was a highly productive day for me.

And that too positively productive.

I know this because at the end of the day I felt super excited rather than drained out.

This whole week was a sh*t in terms of getting things done.

But yesterday something changed, and after analysing my own day I realised it was because

  • I was hell bent on crossing out as many tasks as possible on my Superlist. I didn’t want my next week to be as sh*tty.
  • devoted extra working hours to the day. For instance I cut down morning 40-min walk to 20 minutes (I still managed to reach 7K steps 💪)
  •  I did both personal and professional tasks, which helped me feel great at the end of the day.
  • coaxed, cajoled and negotiated with others – kids, husband and househelp – to squeeze my own tasks in their schedule.
  • I did tasks in batches and used email templates to save time (more on this in another email!!).
  • completed the non-negotiables before attacking other tasks.

Now, looking at this list I realised that I can’t really do this every day 😧

And hence this conclusion that we can’t really perform at peak levels every day.

But such a day once in a while, say every week or fortnight, would be nice. Isn’t it 😉

Which brings me the ACTION STEP for today.

If you had to plan a peak performance day, which day of the week would you choose? And why?

And what prep would you need to do (use my above list as a pointer)?

If you are feeling excited about your peak performance day, why not schedule one for the next week? Or week after that?

Do let me know how that goes.

That’s all for today.

Adios and Happy Performing!
