Friend of list and fellow daily emailer Rod Aparicio had an interesting take on thought leadership recently, and I simply HAD to share it with you all.

You can produce thought leadership.
It’s bullshit.That’s like saying that you can produce leaders. A step-by-step process where you get a person in and, like an output, they return being leaders.
Leading —and leadership— is not about yourself. It needs to take the focus off of you, so that it can be on how to get the ones you serve at their best.
