I ask because mine is.
With everyone at home, there is no routine.
Even the weekly rituals revolve around being lazy and lethargic, especially during winters.
And it feels shitty to be swamped with work when everyone is in a holiday mood.
But I am in a better situation compared to where I was a few years back.
Here are the steps I took, and you can too:
- pushed as many tasks as possible to weekdays
- moved the time of morning service providers so that I had some more time to be in bed
- no major cooking on Sundays
- no going out to eat; only order in
- no tuition or hobby classes for kids, as far as possible
Of course, it took time and effort (and lots of negotiations 😜) but it is all worth it.
ACTION TIME
Look at your Sunday routine.
Identify tasks/chores that can be pushed to weekdays.
Keep eliminating/delegating/pushing as many tasks as you can till…maybe till you reach a completely free Sunday 😎
That’s all for today.
May you have a task-free holiday!
