When you have the workflow for a project nailed, it is very simple to proceed with project planning.

To give an example, here is my workflow for the creative writing workshop I have been planning.

Next, for each step in the workflow I listed out

  • people involved
  • assets needed
  • process

Now each asset and process became mini projects and that’s how the planning proceeded till I had a list of tasks to do. Tasks I could schedule in the calendar.

And bingo, project planning completed in a single session (of 2.5 hrs).
