It was a hugely productive day. Here’s what I accomplished:
- Finished one-third of Week 5 of Intro to Psychology Course – 2 hours
- Sent two cold pitches – 1.5 hours
- Started on Freelance Accelerator 2.0 course I purchased from Jon Morrow – 45 min
- Live webinar on creating productized services – 1 hr
All this on top of the usual LI engagement, pitch follow ups, job search, reading and inbox cleaning.
And all because I finally started following my schedule.
Lesson From Day 3
Kids definitely are a handful. So when they are away, I need to maximise my output during this distraction-free time.
Yes, the biggest issue with kids is that they are a minefield of distractions, usually the negative kind that makes you lose your focus.
When the kids are home I am seriously going to enforce “me time” when absolutely no one is allowed to disturb me. If I am able to get even 3-4 evenings to myself, I can get so much done!! And I plan to absolutely do this.
