Remember, in run up to welcoming the new year, I wrote a 10 part series on goal setting?

Turns out, I couldn’t keep up with my own advice and didn’t actually get down to writing down my goals for 2024 much after the new year was here 🙈.

That set me thinking about all the reasons why I had been doing that.

I had many, let me assure you.

But then they were not reasons, just excuses. May be valid excuses but still, excuses.

Now, procrastination is something we all struggle with from time to time. At least I do🙋‍♀️

That’s why this series.

At least for the rest of the week I will be talking about procrastination.

As I love data, I am starting with an interesting data I stumbled across.

Even when I was not writing down my 2024 goals, I “knew” I had to do it.

One day, out of frustration, I googled:

“are older people more likely to procrastinate?”

And guess what?

A ​2016 study​ showed that younger people are more likely to procrastinate. Yay!!

I will leave you with that thought.

But an ACTION STEP too.

Think back on all the times and tasks you have procrastinated.

Now tell me why you procrastinated?
