When you track your progress, you are bound to observe some gaps.
You didn’t finish the steps in time.
Some parts of the task remain unfinished.
And so on.
Know that this is natural.
To fall behind on your goals or achieving milestones on the way to it.
But there is a simple solution for it.
Get an accountability partner.
Someone who holds you accountable, in a positive way, to your commitments.
Someone to show you the mirror when you slack 😉
Here is what you do (ACTION STEP):
Get a friend, family member or colleague on board to be your accountability partner. (You can also be their accountability partner so that both of you are equally invested.)
Share your goals, tasks, timelines, etc. with them. Anything that is relevant for them.
Fix a frequency when they check with you on your progress.
If you are on track, celebrate. If not, plan to put in more effort or re-do the commitments. You need to set a cadence that works for you, considering your other commitments.
That’s all for today.
Adios and Happy Partnering!
