Break the flow of negative thoughts or emotions.

Refocus your mind for two minutes on something positive. Past, Present or future.

Shift your attention away from problem at hand.

If need be, physically remove yourself from the surroundings.

My fave way is to take a quick walk in the garden.

Or, simply look out the window at the sky or flowers or trees.

How this power pause helps?

Change relieves stress and anxiety.

Helps regain focus. Because sometimes we get so focused on NOW, that we lose sight of the larger picture.
