I speak and write about self-care so much that I sometimes feel my readers will get bored of it.

Not because I am so passionate about it. That is definitely there but it’s also because

Its importance cannot be emphasized enough.

Especially for working moms who shoulder triple responsibilities of

  • earning moolah
  • parenting, sometimes single-handedly
  • caring for the sick and elderly in the family

And amidst all the multi-tasking, the one thing that takes a backseat is self-care.

And the reason is this:

Because you don’t love yourself enough to prioritize yourself.

While you are thinking over that, here are some self-care tips for those busy days you want to forget about yoursef:

  • tell yourself you are the best – first thing in the morning, before going to sleep, and whenever else you feel low.
  • write on multiple sticky notes – I AM THE BEST – and paste them in a way that you are reminded of it through the day.
  • take 10 minutes of outdoor walk whenever you want. if nothing else, before going to bed.
  • do 10-min stretching exercise at least twice a day. YouTube has many such videos!
  • before sleeping, recount 5 things that you are grateful for through the day.

And these are your ACTION STEPS for the day too.
