Serendipity is the occurrence and development of events by chance.

Luck is success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions.

Did you notice the use of the word apparently?

Apparently implies what you see might not be true.

Meaning?

Luck is not only by chance.

Luck can be brought on through one’s own actions.

Actions such as planning and hard work.

To ensure good luck, plan to grab the opportunity offered to you by serendipity.

Then work hard and achieve success.

But how do you plan for serendipity?

By always being alert to the developments around you – in your peer group, your industry and the world at large.

By being ready to get out of your comfort zone.

Because opportunities that lie just outside your comfort zone bring maximum success and satisfaction.

So, basically, if you want to turn serendipities into good luck, here is what you need to do (ACTION STEP 😜):

  1. Be alert to what is happening around you.
  2. Be prepared to get out of your comfort zone.
  3. Grab the opportunities as they come your way.
  4. Work hard. Give it all you can. And then some more.
  5. Rinse and repeat steps 1 to 4 whenever you want more.

And.

if you miss out on chances,

Don’t fret.

You will have enough of those serendipities coming your way.

That’s all for today.

Adios and Good Luck!
